Newly unveild cycling test rig in our sheffield fascility

We’re thrilled to introduce our brand-new test setup designed specifically for the Enduo Cycle range, and joins our growing family of 26 wear rigs!

With it’s adjustable rails and mounts this custom rig lets us simulate any of our customer’s drivetrain setups, so we can rigorously test:

  • Any size and combination of chains and sprockets

  • Freewheels

  • Cassettes

  • Tensioners

  • Endurance testing

  • Environmental conditions

This ensures we can provide our cycling customers and partners with valuable data and with Enduo proven to work up to 30,000km (20,000 for Ride) we can  also ensure your drivetrain is specified with all the components to keep up with our sprocket technology.

What is the Sheffield R&D fascility all about?

At New Motion Labs, we’ve built a state-of-the-art testing environment designed to gather long-term, high-fidelity data on chain and sprocket performance. This facility allows us to rigorously test, validate, and continuously improve our products—setting a new benchmark for durability in the chain industry.

UNIVERSITY OF BATH TEST FACILITY

A full tension rig was developed in collaboration with the University of Bath.

The full tension rig is is by far the most accurate method of testing the efficiency of chain drives in combination with a lubrication methodology developed in partnership with the National Physics Laboratory and can be downloaded on the link here
